Up to 30% of bar liquor goes missing. Even the most careful bartenders have a tendency to over-pour drinks, substitute, and give away free drinks. Managers have no effective way of tracking bartender pours, managing loss. Management observation — including video, audits, secret shoppers — is costly and ineffective. Portion-control solutions impede the bartender and impair the customer experience. And Inventory-control systems add a step to the process and are labor-intensive.
The Solution: Beverage Tracker
Beverage Tracker is comprised of a set of wireless pour spouts, linked to a powerful management and reporting software system. The Beverage Tracker system starts with a wireless free-pour spout that allows bartenders to pour liquor without adjusting normal bar operations. Each spout contains a microchip that wirelessly transmits pour data via radio frequency to a receiver. Every microchip has a unique serial code, so each spout can be tracked individually.
Spouts are completely self-contained and are water resistant and impact resistant so they can be cleaned like any other pour spout. They fit all major brands of liquor and are completely reprogrammable through a simple software update. Every event including pours, placement on-bottle and placement off-bottle is date and time stamped and transmitted in real time.
